Combined Function - Electric Control: Parameter Adjustment

Usage:

352F-VG A9J
These procedures cover specific work tool parameter adjustments that are common to improve work tool operation.

Note: The adjustment procedures assume that each electronic component was calibrated correctly. If the component was not calibrated, the adjustment procedures may not work.

Reference: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Work Tool Parameter - Program" for additional programming instructions and parameter descriptions.

    2. The value of this parameter determines the starting pressure for limiting the amount the spool will shift for the boom control valve. If this value is set too low, the speed of the boom will be restricted while the joystick movement is a small amount. If this value is set too high, the speed of the boom will be restricted while the joystick movement is a larger amount.

Note: For reference, this parameter is set within the range of 800 kPa to 2000 kPa.

    2. The value of this parameter determines the starting pressure for limiting the amount the spool will shift for the stick control valve. If this value is set too low, the speed of the stick will be restricted while the joystick movement is a small amount. If this value is set too high, the speed of the stick will be restricted while the joystick movement is a larger amount.

"ST Cyl Ext Spd Limit Start" (Parameter # 23) - XXXX [kPa]

Note: To slow the Stick IN operation to allow for a fine movement, adjust the value to the range of 500 kPa to 800 kPa.

Note: This parameter is enabled only when the value set for "ST Cyl Ext Spd Limit Start" (Parameter # 23) is less than or equal to the value "ST Cyl Ext Spd Limit Max" (Parameter # 24). This parameter may not be necessary to set unless the upper limit of the speed is desired to be set.
