New Rocker Arms And Rocker Arm Shaft Have Improved Lubrication{1102}

Usage:

All 3304 and 3306 Industrial, Marine, Truck and Vehicular Engines

Description of Change: An improved rocker arm shaft assembly and exhaust and inlet valve rocker arms are now used on the above models.

The location of the oil hole in the new rocker arm shaft is about 45° below horizontal, with the shaft installed. The new rocker arms have a groove on the inside of the bearing. These changes give better lubrication between the shaft and rocker arm bearings. For this reason these parts will have a longer service life.

Adaptable As: The new rocker arm shaft and rocker arms, used together, are a direct replacement for the former parts as shown in the parts chart. The former parts are canceled. Either the new or former rocker arms can be used with the former rocker arm shaft. The former rocker arms must not be used with the new rocker arm shaft.
