Follow Recommendations Given In Special Instructions For Modification Of Rollover Protective Structures (ROPS) At All Times{7323,7325}
Usage:
Several states in the United States have enacted and are enforcing strict noise control laws. In order to comply with these laws, customers and users have had to add sound suppression material to the Rollover Protective Structures (ROPS) on machines not equipped with sound suppression cabs. This addition can involve welding. Indiscriminate welding on ROPS for any reason can weaken the structure and nullify the ROPS certification. To prevent this possibility, we recommend that, if any customers ask you to weld on the ROPS of their machines, you check the Special Instructions, Form SEHS6929, "Repair And Maintenance Of Rollover Protective Structures" before attempting this work.
