3208 Marine Engines ( 1Z ) With Turbochargers And Aftercoolers
Description of Change: A new air cleaner is now used that routes the crankcase fumes inside the air cleaner housing. The air filter element has a cut-out to accept the new hose routing. The new design prevents fumes and oil mist from draining or collecting on the outside of the air cleaner housing.
Adaptable To: The new 9Y4377 Air Cleaner Group is a direct replacement for the former 7W1157 Air Cleaner Group effective with 1Z14880. The new air cleaner parts, when used together, will adapt to earlier 3208 Marine Engines with turbochargers and aftercoolers. The new 9Y2300 Filter also services the former 7W2180 Filter without the cut-out.
