New Flywheel Assemblies Used In With Rear PTO Arrangements{1156}

Usage:

3306B ( 63Z ) Truck Engines

Description of Change: New flywheel assemblies are used on 3306B (63Z) Truck Engines. The pilot on the new flywheels is longer than the pilot on the former flywheels. The lengthened pilot on the new flywheels extends through the gear and pilots directly in the crankshaft. See Illustration 1. The shorter pilots of the former flywheel assemblies did not pilot directly in the crankshaft. See Illustration 2. The longer pilot will better control the location of the flywheel assemblies relative to the crankshaft. This will help minimize flywheel face runout and reduce engine vibration.

Adaptable As: The new flywheel assemblies are direct replacements for the former flywheel assemblies on 3306B (63Z) Truck Engines as shown in the chart.
