Description of Change: A new fuel shutoff solenoid assembly is used on 3408B, 3412 Industrial, Marine, And Generator Set Engines; D9N, D10N, 768C, 773B, 834B Tractors; 769C, 773B, Trucks; and 988B, 992C Loaders. The new solenoid assembly has an improved internal design. This will make the new solenoid assembly more reliable than the former solenoid.

Adaptable As: The new 9X1413 Fuel Shutoff Solenoid Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 8C5481 Fuel Shutoff Solenoid Assembly on all of the above machines and engines. The former solenoid assembly is canceled.
