SERVICE MAGAZINE; NOVEMBER 21, 1988; PAGE 8; "Rechargeable Portable Printer Available" for 3406B (PEEC) Truck Engines. The printer is a dot matrix printer. The second paragraph of the article should read as follows.

The printer group includes an 80 column battery-operated dot matrix printer, AC adapter/charger, roll of printer paper, and a cable all contained in a convenient carrying case. See illustration. The printer has both alphanumeric and graphics modes. It will operate from 120 Volts AC using the AC adapter, or will print continuously for 40 minutes using the internal batteries.

An 8C9700 Rechargeable Portable Printer Group for use with the 8T8697 ECAP (Electronic Control Analyzer Programmer) is available for printing the information from this diagnostic tool. ECAP is for use on 3406B Truck Engines (8TC1-Up) with the PEEC (Programmable Electronic Engine Control).

The printer group includes an 80 column battery-operated thermal printer, AC adapter/charger, roll of thermal printer paper, and a cable all contained in a convenient carrying case. See illustration. The printer has both alphanumeric and graphics modes. It will operate from 120 Volts AC using the AC adapter, or will print continuously for three hours using the internal batteries.
