Description of Change: The 9P3498 and 7T9277 Thermostat Switch Assemblies for air conditioners have been improved by using tin-plated parts. This minimizes the possibility of the internal parts failing due to stress corrosion.
Adaptable To: The improved switches can be used as direct replacements for the earlier switches. Part numbers did not change, but the improved switches can be identified by the light gray color on the terminals. Earlier switches have copper-colored terminals.
