Shims Are Now Used in the Carburetors of G3516 Engines {1266}

- G3516 (S/N: 3RC1-UP; 4EK1-UP; WPS1-UP; WPT1-UP; WPW1-UP)
Description of Change: In an effort to reduce a variation in performance, a modification to the G3516 carburetor has been made. The modification helps to improve mixing the fuel and air in the carburetor.
Adaptable To: The 241-6966 Carburetor As is cancelled and replaced by the 334-2678 Carburetor As.
Note: For engines with 241-6966 Carburetor As, add two 7E-1569 Washers that shim the valve in the mixer on the air inlet side of the carburetor. Refer to Illustration 1 and Illustration 2. The 7E-1569 Washer is used in high pressure carburetors.
