Water Separator Added To Give Protection To The Sleeve Metering Fuel System{1250}

Usage:

3304, 3306 and 3208 Engines Equipped With Sleeve Metering Fuel System

Description of Change: A water separator is now used with all 3208, 3304 and 3306 Engines in machines, when equipped with a sleeve metering fuel system. Formerly, the water separator was available as an attachment only. Fuel is the lubricant for the sleeve metering fuel system. Contaminated fuel (fuel with water in it) can prevent good lubrication and cause damage to the fuel system. The water separator removes the water from the fuel to prevent possible engine damage.

NOTE: The water separator must be inspected every day and if necessary, drained.

Adaptable To: The water separator is adaptable to all earlier 3304, 3306 and 3208 Engines that are equipped with the sleeve metering fuel system.
