A New Internal Wiring Harness for the Injectors is Now Used {1120, 1408}

A new design went into production with C7S04866-UP. The 229-8873 Clip is installed on the internal wiring harness with all the wires in a line in order to provide optimum clearance from the valve cover base to the exhaust spring. The height of the boss on the valve cover base was reduced on both sides. This was done in order to raise the clip 10.0 mm (0.39 inch) higher than the bottom surface of the base.
Note: The new design of the internal harness can be used with either the new version of the valve cover base or the old version of the valve cover base. See Illustration 1 and Illustration 2 for proper installation.
