Water Pump - Install

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Position water pump (3) on the engine block. Install bolts (6).
- Install the gasket, elbow assembly (5), and bolts (4).
- Connect hose (2).
- Tighten hose clamps (1) to a torque of
7 ± 1 N·m (62 ± 9 lb in) . - Install the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belts - Inspect/Replace".
- Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".
