Problem

Claims have been received for the 924K and 930K Wheel Loaders with axle oil leaking from the pinion seal.

Solution

Caterpillar is aware of this problem, but an interim repair has not been defined. Replace with same part. Caterpillar is looking for assistance from the field to return both a yoke and lip seal matching pair.
