凸轮轴转动时，每个凸轮移动一个挺杆组件。 每个气缸有两个挺杆组件。 每个挺杆组件移动一根推杆和两个进气门或两个排气门。 凸轮轴必须与曲轴正时合拍。 凸轮轴凸轮与曲轴位置的关系使每一缸的气门能够在正确的时间工作。
