Fuel Injection Lines

(1) Torque for the bolts ... 9.5 ± 2.8 N·m (85 ± 25 lb in)
Note: Nozzle assembly must be supported with the wrench when fuel injection line assembly is attached.
(2) Torque for the injection line nuts ... 40 ± 7 N·m (30 ± 5 lb ft)
(3) Lubricate the seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.
(4) Torque for the taperlock studs ... 15 ± 5 N·m (11 ± 4 lb ft)
(5) Lubricate the bore for the O-ring seal lightly with the lubricant that is being sealed.

Failure to properly replace or install a fuel injection line clamp may lead to fuel line failure. Fuel line failure may result in a fire hazard, which may cause personal injury or death. The fuel injection line clamps must be installed per these specifications. |
