3208 Truck Engines with Allison AT540 or AT545 Transmissions (An Attachment)
Some of the components of the 9N5331 Transmission Mounting Group, used to install Allison AT540 and AT545 Transmissions on 3208 Truck Engines are no longer serviced by Caterpillar. A new flex plate is now used to drive the Allison transmissions. If any of the four components identified in Illustration 1 need replacing, all six of the Allison components shown in Illustration 2 must be installed at the same time. The chart lists the new Allison part numbers and the former Caterpillar part numbers.
