Location of Components (Power Train System)

Usage:

D6K2 6S6
For more information concerning the location of Power Train System components, refer to the Schematic for your machine.

Left and Right Side Hydrostatic Pumps

Illustration 1g06020966

Left side and right side hydrostatic pump is located beneath the cab floor.

Reference: For more information on the hydrostatic pump see Systems Operation, " Piston Pump (Hydrostatic)" in this manual.

Hydraulic Oil Filters

Illustration 2g06021112

The hydraulic oil filters are mounted behind the access door on the right side of the tractor.

Reference: For more information on the hydraulic oil filters see " Oil Filter (Hydraulic)" in this manual.

Hydrostatic Motors

Illustration 3g06021122

The drive motors are mounted inboard of the final drive and parking brake units.

Reference: For more information on the hydrostatic motors see " Piston Motor (Hydrostatic)" in this manual.

Final Drive

Illustration 4g06021126

The final drives cause the last speed reduction and the last torque increase in the power train. The final drive transfers power from the drive motors to the tracks by way of the sprockets.

Reference: For more information on the final drives see "Final Drive " in this manual.

Parking Brake Switch

Illustration 5g06021130

The switch is on the switch panel that is located to the right of the seat.

Reference: For more information on the parking brake switch see Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9352, " Operator Controls".

Engine Speed Switch

Illustration 6g06021251

The dial switch is on the switch panel that is located to the right of the seat.

Reference: For more information on the engine speed switch see Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9352, " Operator Controls".

Transmission Pilot Supply Solenoid

Illustration 7g06021275

The pilot solenoid is on the hydrostatic pump next to the parking brake solenoid.

Deceleration/Brake Pedal

Illustration 8g06021310

The delecration/brake pedal is located inside the operator station.

Deceleration Pedal (Sensor)

Illustration 9g06021277

The sensor is a part of the delecration/brake pedal housing.

Parking Brake Solenoid

Illustration 10g06021311

The parking brake solenoid is on the hydrostatic pump next to the pilot solenoid.

Steering and Transmission Joystick Sensors

Illustration 11g03055157

The sensors for the steering and transmission control lever are located in the base of the control lever. The entire base must be replaced in the event of a sensor failure.

Acceleration and Deceleration (Thumb Switch)

Illustration 12g03056176

The thumb switch is on the steering and transmission control lever.

Reference: For more information on the thumb brake switch see Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9352, " Operator Controls".

Traction Control Switch

Illustration 13g06021420

The switch is on the switch panel that is located to the right of the seat.

Reference: For more information on the traction control switch see Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9352, " Operator Controls".

Horn Switch

Illustration 14g03056358

The horn switch is the black button that is on the steering and transmission control lever.

Reference: For more information on the horn switch see Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9352, " Operator Controls".

Pump Solenoids

Illustration 15g06021434

The forward and the reverse solenoids for the left side are on the left pump. The forward and the reverse solenoids for the right side are on the right pump. The solenoids allow oil to flow to the left side motor and the right side motor.

Pump Sensors

Illustration 16g06021440

The pump pressure sensors are on the right side of the pump. The sensors toward the top side of the pump are in the forward loop, and the sensors toward the bottom side of the pump are in the reverse loop.

Motor Solenoids

Illustration 17g06021457

The motor solenoids are on the back of the motors.

Track Speed Sensors

Illustration 18g06021465

The track speed sensors are on the back of the motors.

Electronic Control Module

Illustration 19g06021487

The electronic control module is on the machine right side, in the rear access panel. The electronic control module controls all electronic signals from the implement system, including solenoids, sensors, and switches.

Backup Alarm

The backup alarm is mounted on the rear of the machine.

Illustration 20g06021497

Backup alarm - The alarm will sound when the lever for the steering and transmission control is in the REVERSE position. The alarm is used to alert people behind the machine that the machine is backing up.
