Fuel Tank - Remove and Install

Start By:

  1. Remove the piston pump (hydrostatic).

  2. Remove the DEF tank.

  3. Remove the DEF pump.

  4. Remove the batteries.

  1. Drain the fuel tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Fuel Tank Water and Sediment - Drain" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

  2. Remove battery support bracket (1). Disconnect hose assemblies (2) and reposition hose assemblies (2) out of the way.

  3. Remove brackets (3) and (6). Disconnect hose (4) and remove hose (4). Disconnect hose assemblies (5).

  4. Remove brackets (7).

  5. Remove hose (8) and bracket (9).

  6. Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to fuel tank (10). The weight of fuel tank (10) is approximately 57 kg (125 lb). Remove fuel tank (10).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install fuel tank (10) in the reverse order of removal.
