活塞 (4) 在每个蓄能器 (2) 的孔内上、下移动。 充氮 (3) 的大致压力为 5520 kPa (800 psi)。 每个蓄能器通过充注阀 (1) 充注氮气。
机油从制动器泵进入机油腔室 (6) 。 机油通过出口 (7) 到达压力油腔室。 机油向上推动活塞 (4) 。 机油压力压缩氮气。
当蓄能器内的压力达到大约 14973 ± 345 kPa (2172 ± 50 psi)（针对于 834K 和 988K）时，或蓄能器达到大约 14485 ± 345 kPa (2100 ± 50 psi)（针对于 836K）时，油供应停止。 踩下任一制动踏板时，机油从压力油腔室 (6) 流出压力口 (7) ，流向行车制动器控制阀。 这样可施加行车制动器。
