Fuel Related Components in Cold Weather

燃油箱

燃油箱加注不满时可能会出现冷凝现象。 在您运行发动机后请加满燃油箱。

燃油箱应包括一些从底部放出水和沉积物的设施。 有些燃油箱使用的供油管其管端在燃油箱中的位置高于水和沉渣的沉积层。

有些燃油箱使用的供油管直接从燃油箱底部取油。 如果发动机配备了这种系统,定期保养燃油系统滤清器相当重要。

在以下情况下从燃油储油箱中放掉水和沉渣:

  • 每周

  • 更换机油时

  • 向燃油箱加油时

这样将有助于防止水和沉渣被从储油箱中泵吸进发动机燃油箱中。

燃油滤清器

要在燃油箱与安装在发动机上的燃油滤清器之间安装一个燃油粗滤器和/或油水分离器。 燃油粗滤器的位置在寒冷天气作业时相当重要。 燃油粗滤器和供油管常受冷燃油的影响。 燃油粗滤器的最佳位置在发动机室内。 在这个位置上,燃油滤清器会受益于发动机的散热。 安装在机架轨道外侧或任何露风的地方的燃油粗滤器在寒冷天气下都有可能不断发生问题。

燃油加热器

在寒冷天气时,燃油加热器帮助防止燃油滤清器因燃油结蜡而堵塞。 应安装燃油加热器。 应在燃油进入燃油粗滤器之前应进行加热。

选择一种结构简单同时适用的燃油加热器。 燃油加热器还应防止燃油过度加热。 燃油温度高会降低发动机性能和可利用的发动机功率。 选择具有较大加热表面积的燃油加热器。 燃油加热器的尺寸应符合实际要求。 小加热器可能会因其表面积有限而过热。

温暖天气时断开燃油加热器。

注: 应该在发动机上使用有水温调节器控制的或自动调节的燃油加热器。 不受水温调节器控制的燃油加热器可以把燃油加热到 65 ºC (149 °F) 以上。 如果供油温度超过 37°C (100°F),发动机便可能发生功率损失。

注: 热交换型燃油加热器应该有旁通设施以便防止温暖天气操作时发生过热现象。
