New Tie Bars Improve Stability Of The Fuel Injection Test Bench{0652}

Usage:


Fuel injection test benches with serial numbers 1251 and up now have tie bars which connect the main drive unit to the support for the output shaft. The bars decrease movement of the main drive unit during operation of the test bench. Formerly, a few test benches had excessive movement of the main drive unit which caused the belts to slip (slide on the pulley), the belts to jump (sudden movement between the pulleys) and/or high stress on the supports. Also, an improved bushing fastens the counter drive pulley to the output shaft. The bushing has two new bolt holes to be used to fasten the degree wheel. Use of the bolts will prevent loosening of the degree wheel during operation of the test bench.

A J-26794 Stabilizer Kit is available which has the new and improved parts for installation on fuel injection test benches with serial number 1001-1250. Complete installation instructions are included in the kit. The kit can be ordered from:
