Use the following procedure to tighten the studs and bolts:

  1. Tighten stud (9) through stud (12) in the numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration 2 to 5 ± 5 N·m (45 ± 45 lb in).

  2. Tighten bolt (1) through bolt (8) in the numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration 1 to 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft).

  3. Again, tighten stud (9) through stud (12) in the numerical sequence that is shown in Illustration 2 to 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft).
