Some of the components that are connected to the Implement ECM can be calibrated by using the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (Cat ET).
Calibrations should be performed on a surface that is smooth and level. During Linkage calibrations, allow enough room for movement of the linkage.
Press the "HOME" button (4) on the Advisor module in order to bring up the "HOME" menu. Select "Service". Press the "OK" button (5).

Select “Calibration” on the screen and press the "OK" button (5).

Select “Implement” on the screen and press the "OK" button.

Once the specific calibration is selected, the operator monitor will guide you through the calibration procedure.
The operator monitor will list initial machine conditions that must be satisfied before the ECM will allow the calibration procedure to continue. Follow the specific instructions on the display in order to complete the calibration procedure.
Note: The “CALIBRATION REQUIRED” diagnostic will be active and the ECM will revert to the previous successful calibrated values if a calibration is aborted at any time. In order to clear the diagnostic, cycle the key.
