Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Disassemble

Usage:

Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the transmission hydraulic control valve.

  1. Remove fitting (1).

  2. Remove nut (4), washer (3), and coil assembly (2).

    ------ WARNING! ------

    Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.

    Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.

    Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.


  3. Remove valve cartridge assembly (7), spool assembly (6), and spring (5).

  4. Remove O-ring seals (8) from cartridge assembly (7).

  5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 for the remaining transmission hydraulic control valves.

    Note: Prior to removing adjusting screw (14), make a mark to have proper adjustment for assembly.

  6. Remove adjusting screw (14), cover (13), piston (12), spring (11) and relief spool assembly (10) from valve body (9).

  7. Remove plugs (15).

  8. Remove O-ring seal (16) from plug (15).
