Removal Procedure

1. Remove bolts (1) and panel assembly (2) .

2. Remove tube (6) and elbow (5). Disconnect hose (3) and hose assembly (4) .

3. Use Tooling (A) to disconnect hose assembly (9). For more information on the operation and the maintenance of Snap to Connect wrenches, refer to Tool Operating Manual, NEHS1083.

4. Loosen clamp (11) and disconnect elbow (10). Disconnect hose assembly (7) and tube assembly (8) .

5. Disconnect tube assembly (14) .

6. Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (12). The weight of turbocharger (12) is approximately 26 kg (57 lb). Remove locknuts (13) and turbocharger (12) .

Installation Procedure

1. Install turbocharger (12) in the reverse order of removal.

   1. Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of locknuts (13). Tighten locknuts (13) to a torque of 75 ± 5 N·m (55 ± 4 lb ft).
