Removal Procedure

Personal injury or death can occur from not following the proper procedure or the recommended tooling. To prevent the possibility of injury or death, follow the established procedure using the recommended tooling.

Before you remove the air intake shutoff, pull the trip knob on the air intake shutoff or press the emergency stop button in order to release the blade latch. If the blade latch is released after the air intake shutoff is removed, serious personal injury can result.

1. Pull the emergency knob on the air intake shutoff or press the emergency stop button in order to release the blade latch on the air inlet shutoff.

2. Remove hose assembly (2) from air inlet shutoff (3).

3. Remove bolts (4), bolts (6), and elbow (5).

4. Remove bolts (1). Remove air inlet shutoff (3). Check the gaskets and replace the gaskets, if necessary.

1. Clean all mating surfaces and install the gaskets and air inlet shutoff (3). Install bolts (1).

2. Install elbow (5), bolts (4), and bolts (6).

3. Install hose assembly (2) on air inlet shutoff (3).

4. Reset the air inlet shutoff to the "OPEN" position.
