The 3-phase Diode Rectifier is located on the upper left panel in the Inverter Cabinet beneath the Neutral Bus Fuses.

The Diode Rectifier is part of the DC Bus Precharge Circuit. The Diode Rectifier converts the incoming AC power to DC. This conversion ensures one-way current flow through the pre-charge circuit.

Removal

1. Perform steps in the Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Internal Component Preremoval Steps (Inverter Cabinet)" in order to de-energize the system and gain access to internal components.

2. Remove all seven wires from the rectifier using a hex key.

3. Remove the two screws that hold the rectifier to the cabinet panel.

Installation

1. Position the rectifier on the upper left panel of the cabinet.

2. Attach the rectifier using two screws.

3. Connect the seven wires to the rectifier.

   Each wire is labeled as to its location.

   Refer to Illustration 3.

4. Torque the hex bolts appropriately.
