(A) The distance from the bolt flange to the outer bearing support of the bearing housing

(B) The distance from the bolt flange to the outer diameter of the bearing of the torque converter housing

(C) The shim thickness is equal to (B) minus (A).

Note: All shims should error toward the large size, or not error at all.

Thickness of shim ... 0.2 mm (0.008 inch)

Thickness of shim ... 0.1 mm (0.004 inch)

Thickness of shim ... 0.1 mm (0.004 inch)
