Apply 8C-8422 Sealant to the front housing sealing surfaces before assembling the front housing to the cylinder block. The front housing must be assembled and the front housing must be tightened to the cylinder block within ten minutes.

(1) Cylinder Block

(2) Front housing

(3) Length of the bolts that are marked for location (W) ... 50.0 mm (1.97 inch)

(4) Length of the bolts that are marked for location (X) ... 20.0 mm (0.79 inch)

(5) Length of the bolts that are marked for location (Y) ... 30.0 mm (1.18 inch)

(6) Length of the bolt that is marked for location (Z) ... 60.0 mm (2.36 inch)

(7) Front housing cover

(8) Apply 155-0695 Thread Lock Compound to the serrations of the brake studs before installing the studs into the cover (7).
