Description of Change: The air conditioner compressor mounting bracket used in the alternator and compressor mounting group on 3406B Truck Engines has been improved. The improved bracket has a much smaller opening in the center. This will make the bracket stronger.
Adaptable As: The part number of the improved compressor mounting bracket has not changed. The improved 4W4599 Bracket is part of the 4W4836 Alternator And Compressor Mounting group used on 3406B Truck Engines. The improved bracket is a direct replacement for the former bracket.
Location of improved 4W4599 Air Conditioner Mounting Bracket.
