Description of Change: A new spark resistant air starting motor group is available for the above engines. A seal and vane kit, a housing kit, a piston kit, and a jaw clutch kit are available for rebuilding the motor, which is part of this group. The motor of the former sparkless air starting motor group was not serviced.

Adaptable To: The new 7W3397 Spark Resistant Air Starting Motor Group is a direct replacement for the former 2W2267 Sparkless Air Starting Motor Group.

The parts that make up each group will be given in the parts book microfiche.

The following repair kits are available for the new 7W3398 Air Starting Motor which is a part of the 7W3397 Spark Resistant Air Starting Motor Group.
