New Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Alarm Contactor Group Used{7400,7407,7417}

Usage:

3208 Marine Engines

Description of Change: A new oil pressure and water temperature alarm contactor group is used on 3208 Marine Engines. The new group has different oil pressure and water temperature alarm points than the former group. Formerly, the low oil pressure alarm was activated when the oil pressure decreased to 82.8 kPa (12 psi) and the high water temperature alarm was activated when the water temperature reached 98.3°C (209°F). With the new group, the low oil pressure alarm is activated when the oil pressure decreases to 62 kPa (9 psi) and the high water temperature alarm is activated when the water temperature reaches 101.6°C (215°F). The new alarm activating points will help eliminate unnecessary alarms.

Adaptable As: The new 7W1038 Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Alarm Contactor Group is in effect on 3208 Marine Engines 1Z4960. The new 7W1038 Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Alarm Contactor Group is a direct replacement for the former 3N5835 Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Alarm Contactor Group used on 3208 Marine Engines. The new 7W1038 Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Alarm Contactor Group contains a 9G8011 Oil Pressure Switch Assembly and a 7W872 Water Temperature Contactor. The former 3N5835 Oil Pressure And Water Temperature Alarm Contactor Group contained a 2N2240 Oil Pressure Switch and a 5N8597 Water Temperature Contactor.
