Introduction
Note: The contents of the "Setup Menu" dialog are site configurable. Depending on the "Operator Configuration" settings for your system, some of the options, soft keys, or views discussed in this manual may not be accessible. Refer to your site manager if a specific option is not available.
The software for the AccuGrade System displays diagnostic information about the devices the software detects, and the Receiver. Normally you will not need to use this function.
Use the Diagnostics dialog to view the status of the devices connected to the AccuGrade System. Access the dialog from the "Setup Menu - Configuration" dialog.
Checking the System Diagnostics
To access diagnostic information complete the following steps:
- From the "Setup Menu - Configuration" dialog, press the Down arrow until "Diagnostics" is highlighted.
- Press the "OK" key. The Diagnostics screen appears. Refer to Illustration 1.
The screen displays a list of devices that are currently connected to the AccuGrade System. The screen also shows the current status of each of the devices. If the device is detected, the device's firmware version appears in the "App." column. If the device is not detected the status is shown as "Not Found".
The following devices are listed for AccuGrade Systems that are configured for dual GPS:
- Display
- Receivers
- Valve Control Module
- Angle Sensor
- Implement Valve Control ECM (If configured)
- Data Radio
- Valve Module (for G-Series)
Note: Certain models are not equipped with a Valve Control Module.

- Press the "Recheck" soft key in order to recheck whether all the system devices are connected and responding.
Note: By default "Recheck" soft key is not available.
Checking GPS Status
Press the "GPS" soft key in order to view the status of the Receiver and examine the quality of the GPS solution.
GPS Antenna Screens
The Left Antenna and Right Antenna screens are similar. The following dialog shows the Left Antenna screen. Refer to Illustration 2.

The first screen displayed is the left antenna screen. In order to view information for the right antenna screen, press the "Right Antenna" soft key.
Note: When viewing the Right Antenna Diagnostic window, the Left antenna acts a base for Right antenna
Table 1 explains the fields within these dialogs.
Antenna Fields     | |
Item     | Explanation     |
Satellites Used     | Number of satellites used for the current GPS position solution. The satellites must be visible at both the base station and at the antenna for the machine You need five or more satellites to initialize, and four or more to continue working.     |
Satellites PDOP     | PDOP is a quality indicator of the current GPS position solution. A small PDOP is better. The PDOP must be less than seven.     |
Satellites L1     | Number of good quality L1 signals being received at both the base and the machine antenna.     |
Satellites L2     | Number of good quality L2 signals being received at both the base and the machine antenna     |
Satellites G1     | Number of good quality G1 signals being received at both the base and the machine antenna.     |
Satellites G2     | Number of good quality G2 signals being received at both the base and the machine antenna     |
GPS Error     | An estimate of the current GPS error in the horizontal and vertical directions.     |
GPS mode     | Type of GPS solution.     |
Antenna status     | Shows as OK if the system is working correctly.     |
RTK position status     | |
RTK search status     |
Data Link Screen
In order to access the Data Link screen, press the "Data Link" soft key. The dialog that appears is similar to that shown in Illustration 3.
Illustration 3 | g01311926 |
The Left Data Link group reports the data radio statistics for the Compact Measurement Record (CMR) messages received from the base station.
The Right Data Link group reports the CAN bus statistics for the Compact Measurement Record (CMR) messages sent from the left Receiver to the right Receiver.
Table explains the items shown in the Data Link screen.
Data Link Items     | |
Item     | Explanation     |
Integrity: 100 s     | Percentage of CMR messages that were good in the last 100 seconds.     |
Integrity: 15 min     | Percentage of CMR messages that were good in the last 15 minutes.     |
Integrity: 3 hrs     | Percentage of CMR messages that were good in the last 3 hours.     |
Latency     | The latency (or age) of the CMR correction used.     |
GPS Base Station     | "Information received" shows that the GPS base station has broadcast its position. You need the GPS base station position to initialize.     |
In order to return to the "Setup Menu - Configuration" dialog, press the "Esc" key.
