  • Description of Change: Improved oil drain tubes are used on 3500 Engines. The connecting end of the oil drain tube has a reduced outside diameter. This will reduce the potential for breakage due to stress that is put on the tubes by rotation of the turbocharger housing. Alignment of the turbocharger housing is still critical. The turbocharger housing must not put an external load to the oil drain tubes after installation.

    Adaptable To: The new oil drain tubes are adaptable to the engines that are listed above, if equipped. All the former parts are cancelled and replaced by the new parts that are listed in Table 1.
