Replacement of the Transmission Control Group for Earlier Models Is Updated {3065}

Earlier Wheel Loader and Integrated Toolcarrier models require a separate procedure for replacement of the transmission control group.

Refer to the table below for the serial number breaks on the models that are affected. For further information on the connection, refer to the schematics that are referenced in the table below.

Schematic for earlier models

Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position. Remove wire 322-GY from pin location 2 of 148-9267 Control Harness (4). Disconnect 148-9267 Control Harness (4) from the cab harness. The 148-9267 Control Harness will not be reused for reconnection of the transmission control group.

Schematic for later models

Install wire 322-GY (7) to pin location 2 on the new 12-pin connector on 201-0212 Transmission Control (5) .

Remove 154-6743 Bracket (3) and four 9X-6615 Bolts (2). Mount 201-0212 Transmission Control (5) to the column with four 134-1374 Bolts (6) .

Plug the harness that is attached to the new transmission control into the cab harness. Properly secure the harness in order to prevent rubbing or pinching. Operate the machine in all gears in order to confirm proper operation of the shifter.
