The rotation of the shaft is clockwise when the rotation of the shaft is viewed from the drive end.

The pump is a load sensing variable displacement piston pump.

For the test, use SAE 10W oil that is at 65°C (150°F).

Test at full speed:

Pressure ... 690 kPa (100 psi)

(11) Install the shims. Use shims to attain axial shaft end play of 0.01 to 0.10 mm (.0004 to .004 inch).

Note: The 9T-2197 Shaft Shim Kit consists of 17 shims of various thicknesses. For all of the shims, the outside diameter is 38.5 ± 0.25 mm (1.515 ± .0098 inch). The inside diameter is 28.875 ± 0.125 mm (1.1368 ± .0049 inch).

(12) Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads. Torque the rod. ... 79 ± 4 N·m (58 ± 3 lb ft)

(13) Torque for the two plugs ... 12.85 ± 0.15 N·m (114 ± 1 lb in)
