Crankshaft Pulley - Remove and Install

Usage:

C1.5 NCA

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the V-belts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "V-Belts - Remove and Install".

  1. Remove nut (5) and washer (3) from crankshaft pulley (2) .

  1. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove crankshaft pulley (2) from crankshaft (4) .

  1. Remove woodruff key (1) from crankshaft (4) .

Installation Procedure

    Note: Inspect the following components for damage: the taper of the crankshaft, the woodruff key and the bore of the crankshaft pulley. Replace any components that are damaged. Ensure that the taper of the crankshaft and the bore of the crankshaft pulley are clean and dry before assembly.

  1. Install woodruff key (1) in crankshaft (4) .

  1. Position crankshaft pulley (2) on crankshaft (4) .

  1. Install washer (3) .

  1. Apply clean engine oil to nut (5) and install the nut. Tighten nut (5) to a torque of 304 N·m (224 lb ft).

End By: Install the V-belts. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "V-Belts - Remove and Install".
