CID 0091 FMI 08 Throttle Position signal abnormal
Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects a sensor frequency that is greater than 1000 Hz or a sensor frequency that is less than 150 Hz.
System Response:
The ECM sets the desired engine speed to programmed low idle. The Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET) will indicate a throttle position of 0 percent while this diagnostic code is active.
The engine will remain in low idle while this diagnostic code is active.
Test Step 1. Perform the following diagnostic procedure: Speed Control - Test
