Fan Motor (Air Conditioner and Heater) - Remove and Install

Usage:

621G ALP

Removal Procedure

Note: Put identification marks on all electrical connectors and on all wires for assembly purposes.

  1. Open access panel door (1) on the front of the cab.

  1. Remove four bolts (3) on guard (2).

  1. Loosen two screws (4) and remove air filter cover (5) .

  1. Remove air filter (6) .

  1. Remove ten bolts (8) on cover (7) .

  1. Remove cover (7) .

  1. Disconnect electrical plug (9) for fan motor (10) .

  1. Remove one bolt (11) which supports fan motor (10) .

  1. Remove five nuts (12) for the fan motor housing.

  1. Remove fan motor housing from the machine.

  1. Remove three nuts (13) on the side plate. Repeat this step for the other side plate.

  1. Remove clip (14) on the left side fan blade (15) .

  1. Separate fan blade (15) from the fan motor.

  1. Remove the fan motor from the fan motor housing.

  1. Remove remaining clip (17) from remaining fan blade (16). Remove fan blade (16) from the fan motor.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install fan blade (16) and clip (17) on the fan motor.

  1. Position the fan motor in the housing.

  1. Install fan blade (15) to the fan motor.

  1. Install clip (14) on the left side fan blade (15) .

  1. Tighten three nuts (13) on the side plate. Repeat this step for the other side plate.

  1. Position the fan motor housing to the machine.

  1. Install five nuts (12) for the fan motor housing.

  1. Install one bolt (11) which supports fan motor (10) .

  1. Connect electrical plug (9) for fan motor (10) .

  1. Install ten bolts (8) on cover (7) .
    Show/hide table

  1. Install air filter (6) and install cover (5) .

  1. Tighten two screws (4) .

  1. Install guard (2). Install four bolts (3).

  1. Close access panel door (1) on the front of the cab.
