Water Pump - Install - Engine in Chassis
Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
Note: Check the condition of the gaskets and the O-ring seals. If the gaskets or the O-ring seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.
- Install O-ring seal (16) on water pump (12) .

- Install water pump (12) in position and install five bolts (15) .

- Install cover (14) and install three bolts (13) .
- Install the O-ring seal between water pump (12) and water pump cover (10) .

- Install water pump cover (10) and install four bolts (11) .
- Install hose (9) and tighten hose clamp (8) .
- Install bonnet (7) and install two bolts (5) .

- Install bolt (4) which secures bonnet (7) to bracket (6) .
- Install hose (3) and tighten the hose clamp.

- Install hose (2) and tighten the hose clamp.
- Install two hoses (1) and tighten the hose clamps.
- Fill the cooling system. The capacity of the cooling system is 81 L (21 US gal). Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7362, "980G Series II Wheel Loader", "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".
- Close the engine side panel on the left side of the machine.
- Close the engine hood.
End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
