Hydraulic Tank |
(1) Length of 3G-4090 RTV Silicone Sealant ... 2800 ± 10 mm (110.24 ± 0.4 inch)
Note: Overlap the ends of the sealant in order to complete the seal.
(2) Tighten the 70 nuts to the following torque. The torque for the nuts will depend on the type of joint that is being used.
Hard weld joints with plates and drawn tank ... 45 ± 7 N·m (33 ± 5 lb ft)
Hardened bolts and hardened nuts with flat plates with one drawn tank ... 61 ± 9.5 N·m (45 ± 7 lb ft)
Hardened bolts and hardened nuts with two drawn tanks ... 68 ± 9.5 N·m (50 ± 7 lb ft)
Hardened bolts and hardened nuts with a double sealant joint ... 68 ± 9.5 N·m (50 ± 7 lb ft)
Note: Torque the joint with the double sealant two times.
Note: When possible, torque should be driven from the nut end.
(3) Pressure setting for the air pressure test through the port of the hydraulic oil temperature sender ... 150 ± 35 kPa (22 ± 5 psi)
(4) Tighten the eight bolts to the following torque. ... 30 ± 5 N·m (22 ± 4 lb ft)
(5) Tighten the nut for the screen assembly to the following torque. ... 20 ± 5 N·m (15 ± 4 lb ft)
(6) Tighten the plug for the tank drain to the following torque. ... 43 ± 7 N·m (32 ± 5 lb ft)
