Usage:

924G 3DZ
Before performing any procedures on the machine, read Service Manual Module, RENR3508, "Machine Preparation for Trouble Shooting" and understand the steps in Service Manual Module, RENR3508, "Machine Preparation for Trouble Shooting".

  1. Move the machine to a hard, dry surface.

  1. Engage the parking brake.

  1. Slightly raise the work tool off the ground.

  1. Release the service brakes.

  1. Run the engine at LOW idle.

  1. Make sure that the machine is in the straight ahead position.

  1. Slowly turn the steering wheel through one revolution so that there is a minimum of articulation.

  1. Slowly turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction so that there is a minimum of articulation.

  1. Slowly turn the steering wheel through one revolution to the left three times. Write down the needed time for each revolution of the steering wheel.

  1. Slowly turn the steering wheel through one revolution to the right three times. Write down the needed time for each revolution of the steering wheel.

  1. Add the three times for the left turns together.

  1. Add the times for the three right turns together.

If the total of the three left turns and the total for the three right turns are 60 seconds or more than 60 seconds then the slip is acceptable.
