Different Wire Removal Tool and Different Wire Installation Tool Are Required for 85 Pin Connectors on Engine Wiring Harnesses {0709}

The existing 151-6320 Wire Removal Tool can be used to service the 40 pin Deutch connectors in the engine wiring harness of 3500B Engines.
The 151-6320 Wire Removal Tool must not be used for 3500B Engines that use 85 pin Amphenol connectors in the engine wiring harness. The following tools are available for wire removal:
- The 272-2340 Wire Removal Tool is for 12 gauge wires.
- The 272-2343 Wire Removal Tool is for 16 gauge wires.
The new tools can also be used on the 40 pin connectors. Both tools are available through the normal parts distribution system.
