- Attach the selector valve to the test stand. Torque the mounting bolts to 48 ± 4 N·m (35 ± 3 lb ft).
- Supply oil at 8 ± 2 L/min (2.0 ± 0.5 US gpm) and 2585 ± 70 kPa (375 ± 10 psi) to the selector valve. The oil should be supplied through an orifice with a diameter of 0.90 mm (0.035 inch). A gauge should be installed between the selector valve and the orifice.
- With adjustment screw (2) in all the way, supply oil to port (1) at 255 ± 3 kPa (37.0 ± 0.4 psi).
- Slowly turn adjustment screw (2) outward until the pressure for the orificed inlet supply jumps to 2585 ± 70 kPa (375 ± 10 psi).
- Slowly reduce the pitot tube signal until the pressure for the orificed inlet supply drops to 0 kPa (0 psi). The pitot tube signal must then be less than the pitot tube signal in Step 3 by 42 kPa (6 psi) .
- Increase the pitot tube signal until the pressure for the orificed inlet supply jumps to 2585 ± 70 kPa (375 ± 10 psi).
- Supply air at 480 ± 70 kPa (70 ± 10 psi) to port (2). The pressure for the orificed inlet supply must drop to 0 kPa (0 psi).
- Reduce the air pressure to 0 kPa (0 psi). The pressure for the orificed inlet supply must return to 2585 ± 70 kPa (375 ± 10 psi).
