The 6V4060 Engine Set Point Indicator Group is used to locate the set point (formerly called the balance point) on Caterpillar diesel engines. Special Instruction, Form SEHS8328, has information for correct maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the 6V4060 Indicator Group.
