Transmission Control Linkage

(1) Spool

(2) Nut

(3) Rod

(4) Bolt

(5) End

(6) Cam

(7) Detent

(8) Nut

(9) Rod

(10) Nut

(11) Spool

Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.

Accidental movement of controls while the engine is running can cause sudden machine movement.

Do not make any adjustments to the control linkage with the engine running unless required.

Allow only approved personnel on the machine. Keep other personnel off the machine and in clear view of the service personnel.

  1. Remove the covers from the cam housing and the control valve housing.

  1. Loosen the nut (8) and remove the bolt (4) .

  1. Move the cam (6) until the detent (7) is in the FOURTH speed position.

  1. Loosen the nuts (2) and (10). Make adjustments to the rods (3) and (9) until the spools (1) and (11) are even with face (x) of the valve body. Tighten the nuts (2) and (10) .

  1. Move the transmission control lever in the operator's compartment to the FOURTH speed position.

  1. Make an adjustment to the end (5) until the bolt (4) can be installed in the cam (6). Tighten the nut (8) .

  1. Install the covers.
