D11R Track-Type Tractor Power Train Caterpillar

The track rollers are fastened to the minor bogies. The track rollers are in contact with the inside surfaces of the track links. Flanges on the track rollers limit the movement of the track from side to side. The inside surfaces of the track links give equal distribution of the weight of the machine along the track.

Each track roller frame has eight track rollers. The first two rollers and the last two rollers on each side of the machine are single flange rollers. The middle four rollers are double flange rollers.

Washers (5) get the side load on the track roller. The amount of side movement or end clearance of the shaft cannot be adjusted.

The track rollers have Duo-Cone seals (6) at both ends of shaft (3) .

The center of roller (4) is an oil reservoir. The oil is used for lubrication of the bearing surfaces.
