Balancer Shaft And Gear Now Available Separately{1220}
Usage:
All 3304 Engines
Description of Change: The balancer shaft and gear which are used in 3304 Engines are now available separately for parts service. This makes replacement of either the shaft or gear possible.
Formerly, the shaft and gear were only available for parts service as a shaft assembly.
Adaptable To: The new parts are adaptable to all 3304 Engines. The part numbers for the shaft assemblies, shafts and gears are shown in the chart.
To assemble the gear onto the shaft, heat the gear to a maximum temperature of 230° (450°F). Install the gear on the shaft and then install the key.
