(1) Lubricate the threads of the cylinder rod with a minimal amount of the lubricant that is being sealed. Lubricate the face of the nut that contacts the flange of the piston. Torque for the nut ... 8000 ± 800 N·m (5900 ± 590 lb ft)
(2) Torque for the piston ... 800 ± 80 N·m (590 ± 59 lb ft)
(3) Bore of the new cylinder tube ... 266.70 ± .10 mm (10.500 ± 0.004 inch)
(4) Diameter of the new cylinder rod ... 139.650 ± .038 mm (5.4980 ± 0.0015 inch)
(5) Bore of the new cylinder head ... 139.98 ± .03 mm (5.511 ± 0.001 inch)
(6) Lubricate the sealing lips with a minimal amount of the lubricant that is being sealed.
(7) Torque for the four bolts ... 28 ± 7 N·m (20 ± 5 lb ft)
(8) Torque for the six bolts ... 3100 ± 350 N·m (2300 ± 260 lb ft)
(9) Torque for the two bolts ... 3100 ± 350 N·m (2300 ± 260 lb ft)
Tilt Cylinder Drift
The maximum permissible tilt cylinder drift is 25 mm (1.0 inch) at the following conditions.

- Oil temperature of 49 to 66°C (120 to 150°F) ... 2.7 minutes
- Oil temperature above 66°C (150°F) ... 1.7 minutes
- Oil temperature of 49 to 66°C (120 to 150°F) ... 2.7 minutes
