Removal Procedure

Start By:

1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

1. Remove horn button (1) from the steering wheel. If necessary, use a screwdriver in order to pry off the horn button.

2. Disconnect electrical connector (2) from horn button (1).

3. Remove retaining nut (3).

4. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove the steering wheel.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the steering wheel and retaining nut (3). The torque of retaining nut (3) is 50 ± 4 N·m (37 ± 3 lb ft).

2. Connect electrical connector (2) to horn button (1).

3. Install horn button (1) on the steering wheel.
